Theme Pick a look for the board and app. "Auto" follows your device's light/dark setting, and falls back to the Warm theme if that can't be detected.
Number pad layout Show the number buttons in a single row, or as a 3×3 grid: 1 top-left to 9 bottom-right, same as your pencil marks.
Number pad size Bigger buttons are easier to tap; the board shrinks a little to fit. Grid layout only.

Hide hint button Remove the hint option from the game toolbar.
Hide timer Keep the clock off the game screen while you play.
Count mistakes Track wrong entries and end the board after too many.
Max mistakes How many wrong entries before the board resets.

Highlight row & column Light up the selected cell's row and column.
Highlight box Also light up the selected cell's 3×3 box.
Show candidates Auto-fill every empty cell's legal candidates instead of your manual pencil marks.
Highlight number cells Tap a number on the pad with no cell selected to see every cell it could legally go in.
